One of the large shelves in the closet was dedicated to tablecloths: I love them very much and we had many at home. Some people like to use oilcloth. I don't. Even on the kitchen table, I had a tablecloth. So there were many to change often and refresh the look.
And out of the whole pile, Maryam — not me — chose this one. My daughter took it. When we arrived in Yerevan, I asked her: "Maryam, we had so many good tablecloths. Why did you take this one?" And she said to me: "Mom, we can buy these good tablecloths in Yerevan, but this is the tablecloth of my Russian grandmother."
