Inna Grigoryan, 37 years old

What did I take with me? I didn't even tell my close ones and secretly packed two of my Bibles. I wrapped them in clothes so they wouldn't be seen. I hoped that they wouldn't inspect the things too closely.

I have a prayer book that is very dear to me because it was given to me by a person who was considered the #1 first aid in Artsakh. It was Father Hakob. The prayer book was for commemorating those who are no longer with us, those who have passed away. Interestingly, after arriving here, some time passed, and during one of my photo sessions at an exhibition, I was asked to bring something important with me, and I decided that it would be that very prayer book.

Yes, I loved little angels very much and had accumulated quite a large collection of them. But I could only take one of them with me. For that photo session, I also took that angel with a small bell. You know, in the search for what to take, at one point, I wondered if I had taken the prayer book with me. How happy I was when I found it on my shelves. It was so good that I hadn't left it in Artsakh.

At the exhibition, I presented this book. Recently, another story happened with this prayer book. After the exhibition, I took a photo of my performance to share everything I had experienced on my Facebook page and to publish a photo of the prayer book. It was February 3rd. A few hours later, I remembered that it was on this very day, February 3rd... that Father Hakob gave me this book.
