The flag of Artsakh, made from this carpet, I brought with me from Artsakh. Upon entering the house, I immediately ran to the refrigerator where it was, and took it, because it is a very dear item to me.

Since ancient times, carpet weaving has been one of the traditional national industries of Armenia and Artsakh. I felt that the first piece of work I would do should have symbolic significance, and I chose the flag of Artsakh because the flag is not just a piece of material, but a symbol of our quest for freedom, stemming from centuries past, for which our ancestors shed blood. It represents our nation, people, country, and state.
